This is a hybrid role based in Malaysia, supporting audit engagements for our Hong Kong SME clients.
About the Role:
- Responsible for conducting audit fieldwork in accordance with Hong Kong Standards on Auditing (HKSAs) and apply Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Plan and execute audit procedures, preparing audit documentation and working papers.
- Identify key audit findings, and support reporting processes.
- Work closely with our Hong Kong audit teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery while liaising with clients on audit-related matters.
What We are Looking For:
- 1-3 years of external audit experience, preferably in a professional services firm
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Familiarity with HKFRS, IFRS, and HKSAs
- A professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, HKICPA) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-border team
